Development of Constructivists-Based Interactive.. Mathematics Learning Media for Class VII Middle School Students. Thesis. Mathematic Education, Bung Hatta University
Abstrak
Effective learning must be done in various ways and using various of learning media (According to Gagne in Wena, 2012 : 10). The use of learning assisted computer media that does not varies, as well as the relatively long time in conveying and providing an understanding of the material "Data Presentment" is an obstacle faced by educators in achieving learning objectives. Therefore an educator is expected to be able to use various types of learning media, to create an effective learning process.Based on the above problems, researchers developed a Constructivists-Based Interactive Mathematics Learning Media Class VII Middle School Students. This learning media was developed using a constructivists approach. This media be equipped with subject matter, examples of practice and evaluation questions, sourced from relevant teaching materials, then packaged in the form of interactive learning CDs. This media is equipped with Student Worksheets as a unit in their use.Type of research is a Research & Development (R & D). In this research, researchers used 5 stages, namely the concept stage, the design stage, the material collection stage, the manufacturing stage, and the testing phase. Validation was carried out by experts consisting of three lecturers and one teacher. From the results of the validity test questionnaire analysis, it can be concluded that this constructivists-based interactive mathematics learning media is feasible, amounting to 88.20%. While the practicality test carried out by 14 students was stated to be very practical, which amounted to 90.87%.So, it can be concluded that the interactive mathematics learning media is constructivists based, on the "Data Presentment" material for class VII Middle School Students, it is declared feasible and practical to be used as a learning mathematics medium. Based on the results of this research, researchers suggest that further research is needed to test the effectiveness and renewal of the learning media. Keywords: Learning Media and Constructivists
