Abstrak

This research caused by the lack of students activity and also the low value of students learning evaluation in reading and writing. The purpose of this research is to describe the involvement students activity and students learning evaluation at fourth grade in Indonesia subject throughtCIRC learning model at SDN 04 Maek Kabupaten 50 Kota. CIRC model is a group learning that determine main idea and main sentence from an article then students interpret it in front of the class and teacher conclude that idea/opinion from the students. This research is a kind of class action which is done by two cycle. The first cycle will be held on three meeting and also the second. The subject is 18 students in the cycle fourth grade at SDN 04 Maek. The instruments that used are students activity sheet, teacher activity sheet and evaluation test. Based on the research, CIRC learning model can increase students learning activity for every indicator from cycle I 48,18% to cycle II 78,69%. The increase of students exam result at the end of cycle I is 55,55 (68,05%) and at the end of cycle II is 75,27 (83,33) with 70 standard minimum. So, the conclusion is CIRC model can increase students activity and students learning evaluation at fourth grade in learning Indonesian subject at SDN 04 Maek Kabupaten 50 Kota.
