PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS BELAJAR SISWA MELALUI MODEL THE LEARNING CELL DI KELAS IV SD KARTIKA 1-11 PADANG
Abstrak
This research is motivated by the lack of student learning activities in science teaching especially in the fourth grade at SD Kartika 1-11 Padang. The purpose of this study is 1) to increase the activity of reading, 2) to increase the activity of asking questions, 3) to increase the activity of the task, type of research is a classroom action research (CAR). Subjects in this study is a fourth grade student Kartika 1-11 Padang, which amounts to 26 students. Instruments used in the study is the observation sheet student activities and teacher observation sheet aspect. Based on the results of this research is the average percentage of students who perform reading activities 69.22% in the first cycle increased to 88.45% in the second cycle, students are doing the activity questions 72.99% in the first cycle increased to 90.38% in the second cycle, students who do activities tasks students 67.3% in the first cycle increased to 82.68% in the second cycle. From the results of this study concluded that in science teaching through the learning cell models can improve students' learning activities especially activities of reading, asking questions, and do chores in the fourth grade Kartika 1-11 Padang. Based on the research results, it is suggested that teachers can apply the learning model of the cell well in science teaching in different materials.
