Mathematics is one of the fields of study that exists at the level of education, ranging from the level of elementary school to college.In mathematics learning the teacher needs to make various efforts to design activities that are fun and can make students play an active role in learning, so learning becomes more meaningful. But based on the results of observations in SD Negeri 02 Kinali, the learning method used by the teacher is a conventional method. This conventional method results in passive and easily bored students that have an impact on their understanding of the learning material being studied. Therefore, one solution to improve student learning outcomes is to use the Cooperative Learning Team Type Assisted Individualization model in mathematics learning activities.
This type of research is an experimental study with the design of "posttes-only control design". The independent variable in this study is the Effect of Team Assisted Individualization Cooperative Learning Model, while the dependent variable is the result of student mathematics learning. The population in this study were all fourth grade students of SD Negeri 02 Kinali in the 2018/2019 school year consisting of 2 classes. The sample in this study was IV.A grade students as many as 24 students and class VI.B students as many as 25 students. The technique in sampling is by total sampling. The data taken in this study is the mathematics learning outcomes of students of the cognitive realm obtained through the final test in an objective form.
The results showed that the average value of the experimental class was higher than the control class (the experimental class had an average value of 82.00 and the control class averaged 73, 75). In statistical tests the price of tcount> t (0.975; 47) (82.00> 73, 75) then the H1 hypothesis is accepted. From these data it can be concluded that the results of mathematics learning of students who learn using the Team Assisted Individualization model are better than students' mathematics learning outcomes using conventional methods. Thus the Cooperative learning model Type Team Assisted Individualization is expected to be used in the learning process to provide a better influence on student learning outcomes.
