Abstrak

This study originated from the reality in SDN 04 BariangRao-Rao, Capping River District, South Solok that learning is often dominated by teachers, and students just listen, teasing, and not willing to work together in groups, so that a low student science learning outcomes. To overcome the action by using the experimental method. Experimental method is an approach to learning that involves students actively in doing experiments to find answers or prove a theory that is being studied. The purpose of this research is to improve students' learning outcomes IPA class V. This study is a class action that is done in two cycles using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The data of this study is to learn the process and the results of experiments using the approach. The subjects were teachers and fifth grade students of SDN 04 BariangRao-Rao. The results obtained in the first cycle of student learning outcomes in the cognitive aspects with an average of 80. In the second cycle an average of 91, have increased 11. Affective cycle I gained an average value of 78%, in the second cycle to 85%, an increase of 7%. I Pisikomotor 81% cycle and second cycle pisikomotor 86% with a 5% increase. So it can be concluded that this PTK successfully improve learning outcomes in learning science through experimental methods.
