PENINGKATAN MOTIVASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS V MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE THINK-PAIR-SHARE DI SDN 05 KINALI

Abstrak

The purpose of this study is to describe the increase in students' motivation in learning science class V SDN 05 Kinali through the application of cooperative learning model Think-Pair-Share. This research is a classroom action research conducted persiklus. The research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of three meetings (including meetings for one final test). Subjects of this study were fifth grade students of SDN 05 Kinali, which amounts to 25 people. The research instrument used in this study is the observation of student activity sheets, teacher observation sheet activity and achievement test. Based on the results of the analysis carried out is known that the average final exam scores first cycle was 64.6, with a percentage of 40% mastery learning. Meanwhile the average final exam scores second cycle was 77.6, with a percentage of 76% mastery learning. Observation of student activity sheet analysis obtained an average percentage in the first cycle was 59.33%. In the second cycle the average percentage of student activity obtained was 85.33%. From the results of this study concluded that learning science using cooperative learning methods Think-Pair-Share can increase student motivation, ask questions, and draw conclusions in SDN 05 Kinali. Based on these results, the researchers suggest that teachers can use cooperative methods of Think-Pair-Share in science teaching well to increase students' motivation.
