PENINGKATAN MINAT DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPA MELALUI MODELTHE GREAT WIND BLOWS DI KELAS IVSDN 35 KINALI KABUPATEN PASAMAN BARAT
Abstrak
The purpose of this study was to determine whether using the model of The Great Wind Blows can increase interest and learning outcomes of the fourth grade students of SDN 35 Kinali. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of three meetings (including the meetings for a retrial). Subjects of this study were fourth grade students of SDN 35 Kinali, which amounts to 36 people. The research instrument used in this study is the observation sheet student interest and teacher activity sheets, and test results of students' learning. Based on the research that has been done can be seen that the percentage of students who achieve mastery learning in the first cycle was 63.88% and the percentage of students who achieve mastery learning in the second cycle was 83.33%. From the analysis of student interest in the observation sheet, obtained by the average percentage of the observer in the first cycle was 68.49%, while in the second cycle the average percentage obtained from the observer is 83%. This means that learning science using The Great Wind Blows models can improve learning interests and results of fourth grade students of SDN 35 Kinali. Based on the results of this study researchers suggest that teachers can use the model of The Great Wind Blows to increase interest in learning and student learning outcomes
