PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS IVA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN IPS DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE PROBLEM SOLVING DI KELAS IVA SDN 09 PASAMAN KABUPATEN PASAMAN BARAT
Abstrak
This research is motivated by the lack of student learning outcomes in social studies education IVA grade students of SDN 09 Pasaman, West Pasaman. The low student learning outcomes indicated by the results of the second semester exams mid Academic Year 2012/2013, only 38.24% of students who pass. One way that can be used to overcome this problem is to use a method of problem solving. The research problem is how to increase student learning outcomes in social studies class IVA using problem solving method in SDN 09 Pasaman West Pasaman. While the purpose of this study is to describe the improvement of student learning outcomes in social studies class IVA using problem solving method in SDN 09 Pasaman West Pasaman. This research is a classroom action research undertaken collaboratively. Subjects of this study were students of SDN 09 Pasaman IVA, which amounts to 34 people. The research instrument used in this study is the affective domain of student observation sheet, observation sheets and test activities teachers learning outcomes. Based on the analysis of the observation sheet affective IPS students during the learning process the results obtained in the first cycle with an average of 73.98, an increase in cycle II with an average of 83.26. While the results of the students' cognitive learning in the first cycle with a 72.06 average, increased in the second cycle with an average 83.68. It can be concluded that by using the method of problem solving can improve student learning outcomes in social studies learning.
