PENINGKATAN MOTIVASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPA MELALUI METODE THE GREAT WIND BLOWS DI KELAS IV SDN 36 KINALI KABUPATEN PASAMAN BARAT
Abstrak
Classroom Action Research purpose is to describe an increase in motivation and learning outcomes of students in learning science through The Great Wind Blows method in class IV SDN 36 Kinali West Pasaman. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which was commissioned jointly. The research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of three meetings (including meetings of the final test). Subjects of this study were fourth grade students of SDN 36 Kinali, which amounts to 27 people. The research instrument used in this study is the observation sheet student motivation, teacher observation sheet activities, sheet student questionnaire and achievement test. Based on the results of the analysis carried out is known that the average final exam scores first cycle was 68.95, with a percentage of 41.66% mastery learning. Meanwhile the average final exam scores second cycle was 76.48, with a percentage of 77.77% mastery learning. From the analysis of student motivation observation sheet obtained by the average percentage in the first cycle was 64.4%. In the second cycle the average percentage of motivated students who obtained 82.4%. From the results of this study concluded that learning science by using The Great Wind Blows can increase student motivation, making questions, express opinions, answer questions, and organize games at SDN 36 Kinali West Pasaman. Based on these results, the researchers suggest that teachers can use The Great Wind Blows methods in science teaching well to increase student motivation and learning outcomes.
