Development of IPS Learning Module Deductive Based Theme 6 Cita-Citaku For Grade IV Students of SDN 08 Supayang Kabupaten Solok

Abstrak

This research aims to develop Social Science Learning Module with the deductive approach of the 6th theme for fourth grade students  of SD Negeri 08 Supayang which is valid and practical. This study is conducted because the learning process in school has not yet started with the discovery activity of the concept, that makes the students learn using printed books, so that there is a need for learning resources that help learners to find the concept by using the module. According to Daryanto (2013: 9), the module is one of the complete and systematic package of teaching materials, containing a set of planned learning experiences designed to help learners in mastering specific learning goals.

This research use Research or Development (R & D) research. The subject of this research is the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 08 Supayang kabupaten Solok with 23 students. The data in this research is primary data. The primary data in question is the data obtained directly from lecturers, teachers, and learners taken through the questionnaire, testing of validity and practicality. The primary data are: (1) the lecturer validation score and (2) the teacher and the learners responding questionnaire score.

The results showed that the Social Science learning module with the deductive approach in grade IV students was in the practical category with a mean practicality percentage of  89.52 per students. The validation result by two experts obtained a value of 99.25 which is in the highly valid category, and from the teacher practical value test is 89.7 which is in the practical category. From the data it can be concluded that the Social Science learning module with deductive approach developed is valid and practical, so this module can be applied and use as one of the alternative teaching materials.
