PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA MELALUI MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TEAM ASSISTED INDIVIDUAL (TAI) DI KELAS IV SDN 26 PULAKEK KECAMATAN SUNGAI PAGU KABUPATEN SOLOK SELATAN
Abstrak
The background of this research is the process of teaching and learning which did not run well based on the expected. The researcher only used lecture method in learning process, and did not give the chance to the students to work together among them.The purpose of this research is to investigate the students’ achievement in mathematics at class IV of SDN 26 Pulakek by using cooperative learning model Team Assisted Individual (TAI) type. This research was Classroom Action Research. This research was located on SDN 26 Pulakek, the subject of the research was the students of class IV which were 20 students. This research was done by 2 cycles. The finding of this research shows that the use of cooperative model TAI type can improve students’achivement in mathematics. The improvement can be seen by the mean score of the students’ achievement in cycle I was 64.  In cycle II the mean score was 69. But the percentage of the minimal students’ score in cycle I was 50%. In cycle II was 70%.Based on the finding, it can be concluded that cooperative TAI type can improve the students’ achievement in mathematics at class IV of SDN 26 Pulakek, and also it can be used as an altenative teaching method in improving the students’ achievement.
