SUMMARY

The problem in this study is that the dribbling ability of SSB Kambang players in Lengayang Subdistrict, Pesisir Selatan Regency is not good. This study aims to determine the relationship between agility and eye-foot coordination with the dribbling ability of Kambang SSB players in Lengayang Subdistrict, Pesisir Selatan Regency.

Dribbling is a basic skill in football because all players must be able to master the ball while moving, standing, or preparing to pass or shoot, (Mielke 2007: 1). Agility is the ability to change the direction and position of the body or its parts quickly and precisely "(Ismaryati 2006: 41). Coordination is a process of muscle cooperation that will produce a movement that is organized and directed, which aims to form the movements needed in the implementation of a technical skill, (Hendri 2013: 103).

This type of research is correlational. The population in this study were 61 people. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. Thus the number of samples in this study 41 people. Data collected using tests. Agility is tested with the agility t-test. Eye-eye coordination is tested by kicking the ball into the target which is stuck to the wall. The ability of dribbling is tested by dribbling the ball avoiding obstacle pegs. Data were analyzed using product moment correlation and continued with multiple correlation.

The results were obtained as follows: 1) There was a significant relationship between agility and the dribbling ability of SSB kambang players. 2) There is a significant relationship between eye-foot coordination and the dribbling ability of SSB kambang players. 3) There is a significant relationship between agility and eye-foot coordination together with the dribbling ability of SSB floating players.
