PENGARUH PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE THINK PAIR SHARE TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 15 PADANG
Abstrak
Mathematical problem-solving ability of students of SMP Negeri 15 Padang is still low. This is due to learning is centered on teachers, students only receive course material presented by the teacher without any response or feedback from the students. To overcome this problem, one that can be done with efforts to implement cooperative learning learning model Think Pair Share. The purpose of this study was to find out how the problem solving ability of eighth grade math students of SMP Negeri 15 Padang school year 2012/2013 after application of cooperative learning model to Think Pair Share and compare mathematical problem solving ability eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 15 Padang between the use of models cooperative learning Think Pair Share and conventional learning. This type of research is experimental research. This is a research instrument students worksheet and achievement test. Development of problem-solving ability of students has increased. Based on the results of study on the class of samples, when analyzed hypothesis testing using 2formula for the two samples obtained indenpeden 2 = 6.46 then means rejected and H1 is accepted. Thus, it was concluded that the proportion of students who achieve a passing grade math lesson using cooperative learning model Think Pair Share is higher than the proportion of students who achieve a passing grade math lesson using conventional learning and research suggests that math teachers can menerpakan cooperative learning model Think Share this pair as an alternative to achieve the learning objectives.
