Peningkatan Hasil Belajar IPS Melalui Pendekatan Problem Solving di Kelas IV SD Negeri 06 Pekan Selasa Pauh Duo Kabupaten Solok Selatan
Abstrak
This research was stimulated by the background of student’s social science mark at the class of IV Semester I in 2012/2013. It was caused by this research was more dominant in using the speech method and question – answer. The aim of this research was to describe how the increase of the student’s learning outcome for social science thorugh problem solving at the class IV SD Negeri 06 Pekan Selasa Pauh Duo in South Solok Regency. The type of this research was Class Action Research (CAR). The subject of this research was all students at the class IV totally 27 people. The data of this research was obtained from the survey, test result and self-reflection that researcher did to each cycle and showed that the increase of students’ learning outcome. In the action test at the first cycle the percentage of mastery learning of students reached 69%. And then in the second cycle, percentage of students’ mastery learning reached 84%. The researcher can conclude there was significant improvement of social science by using problem solving at the class IV SD Negeri 06 Pekan Selasa Pauh Duo in South Solok Regency that had been success in the research.
