The Role The Mate Improving The Performance Of Village Apparatur (Study In Kayu Aro district)

Abstrak

This study aims to describe the role of the Camat in the Guidance and Supervision of the Administration of Village Governance, Village Financial Management, Compilation of Village Regulations and Village Head Regulations. This research was carried out because of the lack of an orderly administration of the Village Governance carried out by the village apparatus, the Village had not utilized Village Finance by implementing the program / design, the Village Regulation and Village Head Regulation had not yet been implemented. Therefore, it is necessary to have the role of the Camat in the Development and Supervision to improve the performance of the Village Apparatus. According to Suriakusumah and Prayoga Bestari (2009: 255), the Camat is the head of the sub-district. 

The type of research used is descriptive with research location at Sungai Dalam Village, Batang Sangir Village, Mekar Sari Village, Sangir Tengah Village, and Sungai Bendug Air Village. Data collected using instruments observasi sheet, interview guidelines, documentation by using triangulation as a data analysis technique.

The results showed that the Camat carried out a role in the administration of village governance, by facilitating guidebooks such as population books, outgoing mail book, equipped with instructions for use. Guidance and supervision of village financial management is carried out with technical guidance which is conducted once or twice a year. In the case if fostering and supervising village regulations and Village Head Regulations at the coordination meeting, in additig to the District Head this was also done by the Village assistant. The conclusion is that the Camat performs these tree that role.
