Abstrak

The study aims to illustrate the political culture of  Nagari Painan Society IV Jurai, the southern coastal district in the 2019 legislative elections, people's habits are more likely to choose a one-tribe legislative candidate, to describe the community more Like high-educated legislative candidates, to illustrate the Community prefer a legislative-integrity candidate. The type of research used is the descriptive data obtained (in the form of numbers, images, and words) The instruments used are observations, interviews and questionnaires (questionnaires) to support the data qualitatively. The results showed that people's habits were more likely to choose many legislative candidates as 42 people (70%) of a Total of 60 respondents prefer to have 54 highly educated legislators (90%) Total 60 respondents. People who prefer legislative candidates with integrity are 53 people (88.3%).
