PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MATEMATIS SISWA KELAS VIII SMPN 22 PADANG DENGAN MENERAPKAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE CO-OP CO-OP DISERTAI PENGGUNAAN PETA PIKIRAN

Abstrak

Mathematics learning that is centered to teacher cause low ability in comprehending mathematical concept of the second years students in SMPN 22 Padang. To make it clear, one of the ways is by using type of cooperative learning is Co-op Co-op and using mind map. The purpose of the research is to know development of comprehending students’  mathematical concept since the students’ use type of cooperative learning; co-op co-op with mind map and to know “is the students’ mathematical concept with co-op co-op and mind map learning better than konventional learning of the second year students’ of SMPN 22 Padang?”. The kind of the research is experiment. The population of the research the seond year students’ of SMPN 22 Padang. The researcher used random sampling. The instrument of the research consist of quiz and final test. The development of the concept based on students’ percentage by using scala indicator in each meeting. The technique analyzing data to see the differenciate concept learning in experiment class and control by using t’ test. From the grade  . It could be seen that the development of mathematical concept by using cooperative learning co-op co-op and using mind map learning is better than mathematical concept by using the konventional learning of the second year students’ of SMPN 22 Padang.
