Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan merupakan salah satu bidang studi yang ada
pada jenjang pendidikan, mulai dari tingkat sekolah dasar hingga perguruan
tinggi. Pendidikan kewarganegaraan sangat penting untuk menumbuhkan rasa
kewarganegaran generasi penerus bangsa. Susanto (2014:225) menjelaskan PKn
adalah mata pelajaran yang digunakan sebagai wahana untuk mengembangkan
dan melestarikan nilai luhur dan moral yang berakar pada budaya bangsa
Indonesia. Pada umumnya guru hanya menggunakan pembelajaran yang bersifat
konvensional. Dimana pada model ini guru cenderung menjelasakan materi
dengan ceramah dan diakhiri dengan penugasan. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan
tersebut guru perlu menggunakan model pembelajaran aktif pada saat proses
pembelajaran , maka peneliti tertarik untuk melakukan peneltian eksperimen
dengan judul Think Pair and Share pada mata pelajaran PKn di kelas III SDN 16
Surau Gadang Siteba. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, maka peneliti melakukan
penelitian eksperimen dengan judul “Pengaruh Mode Pembelajaran Think Pair
and Share Terhadap Aktivitas dan Hasil Belajar PKn Pada Siswa Kelas III SDN
16 Surau Gadang”
Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian mix method dengan model
pembelajaran Think Pair and Share dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas III SDN
16 Surau Gadang Siteba tahun ajaran 2018/2019, sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu
kelas III B sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas III A sebagai kelas kontrol.
variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran Think Pair and
Shar, variabel terikat adalah hasil belajar PKn, sedangkan variabel moderatornya
adalah aktivitas. Cara pengambilan sampelnya dengan menggunakan teknik
random sampling.
Rata-rata persentase aktivitas siswa dengan menggunakan model Think Pair
and Share sebesar 47,79% maka tidak terdapat pengaruh pada aktivitas siswa
kelas III di SDN 16 Surau Gadang Siteba. Rata-rata hasil tes akhir siswa pada
kelas eksperimen 82,86 sedangkan kelas kontrol 80,4. Hasil analisis pada taraf
kepercayaan α = 0,05 menunjukkan bahwa nilai t

Citizenship Education is one of the fields of study at the level of
education, from elementary school to tertiary level. Citizenship education is very
important to foster a sense of citizenship of the nation's next generation. Susanto
(2014: 225) explains Civics is a subject that is used as a vehicle to develop and
preserve noble and moral values that are rooted in the culture of the Indonesian
nation. In general, teachers only use conventional learning. Where in this model
the teacher tends to explain the material with the lecture and ends with the
assignment. To overcome these problems, teachers need to use active learning
models during the learning process, so researchers are interested in conducting an
experimental study entitled Think Pair and Share on Civics subjects in class III
SDN 16 Surau Gadang Siteba. Based on this, the researchers conducted an
experimental study entitled "The Effect of Think Pair and Share Learning Modes
on PKn Learning Activities and Outcomes in Grade III Students of SDN 16 Surau
Gadang"
This type of research is a mixed method research with Think Pair and
Share learning model with a population of all students of class III SDN 16 Surau
Gadang Siteba in the academic year 2018/2019, the sample in this study is class
III B as an experimental class and class III A as a control class . The independent
variable in this study is the Think Pair and Shar learning model, the dependent
variable is the PKn learning outcomes, while the moderator variable is activity.
The way to take the sample is by using random sampling technique.
The average percentage of student activity using the Think Pair and
Share model is 47.79%, so there is no influence on the activity of grade III
students at SDN 16 Surau Gadang Siteba. The average student final test results in
the experimental class 82.86 while the control class 80.4. The results of the
analysis at the level of confidence α = 0.05 indicate that the value of t
