Development of Scramble Based Science Learning Module on Material Characteristics and Needs of Living Things For Class III SD 20 Kalumbuk Padang

Abstrak

This research was conducted because there were less teaching materials used by elementary schools. Teaching material used by teachers is the Student Worksheet (LKS) and textbooks. The teacher uses books in the library to teach and focus on cognitive aspects. In addition, teachers have not yet developed their own learning modules due to limited time and resources they have. Therefore, there is a need for learning resources that help students understand the subject matter using the learning module
This study was designed to describe the validity and practicality of science-based learning modules for the content of the characteristics and needs of life complexity for valid and practical Class III student.
This type of research uses development or Research and Development (R&D). The research development model is a 3D development model consisting of three revisions by experts. While the 3D is defined (defining), design (design), and development (development). The test subjects in this study were third grade students at SD Negeri 20 Kalumbuk Padang, winning 26 people. After learning activities using modules, the teacher and students fill out the practical module questionnaire.
Results of research model based on problems and the ability of opportunity needs for Grade III students by 93% with very practical criteria. From these data it can be concluded that the science-based learning module scrambling on the material characteristics and needs of life for third grade elementary school students can be used as an alternative teaching material.
