DEVELOPMENT OF PKN LEARNING MODULE WITH CONTEXTUAL APPROACH TEACHING AND LEARNING ONSTUDENT CLASS III SDN 27 OLO PADANG

Abstrak

National education functions to develop the ability and shape the nation's character and civilization with dignity in order to develop the intellectual life of the nation which aims to develop the potential of students, so that they become people of faith and devotion to God Almighty, noble, healthy, knowledgeable, capable, creative, independent, and become citizens who are democratic and responsible. Citizenship Education is one of the main subjects in the education curriculum in Indonesia, including at the elementary school level. Develop modules using the Contextual Teaching And Learning approach to maximize student understanding and also so that students can learn independently with the modules developed. The research approach used in this study is the 4-D approach. With this approach consists of 4 stages of development, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate or be adapted to become a 4-P approach, namely defining, designing, developing and disseminating.
Based on research that has been done in class III SD Negeri 27 Olo Padang, data obtained about the validity of the modules were obtained from two expert lecturers. In addition to obtaining data on validity, researchers also obtained data on the practicality of the modules developed which were obtained from a teacher and twenty-four grade III students.
Based on the results of the data obtained by researchers analyzed two data, namely data validity and practicality. In the validity of the module, the researcher obtained the module validation which was evaluated as validator in general at 83% with the Valid category. From the assessed aspects obtained an average percentage of display aspects 83%, module component aspects 88%, didactic aspects 83%, construction aspects 79%, and technical aspects 80%.
Then the researchers obtained a score from the practicality of a teacher module that is 86% with practical criteria. From the assessed aspects obtained an average percentage of the practical aspects of use by 85%, 75% of the suitability of the time aspect, 100% of the illustrative suitability aspect, and 83% of the language aspect.
Apart from the teacher the researcher also obtained module practicality data from twenty-four students, with an average module practicality of 90% and a very practical category. From the assessed aspects, the average percentage of the module display aspect is 98.95%, the module aspect has an attractive color of 95.83%, the module aspect is practical and easy to understand 88.54%, the module's letter and writing aspects are clear 86, 45%, aspects of the instructions for using the module are easy to understand 84.37%, aspects of the module can increase learning activities 93.75%, aspects of the module can help in stimulating and thinking 86.45%, aspects of the module can help independent learning
95.83%, the module aspect can replace the package book 84.37%, this module aspect does not require a long time in understanding the concept of 86.45%, the module aspect can understand a real example of the uniqueness of the Indonesian nation 93.75%, the aspect of improving the concepts learned with daily life days 95.83%, aspects of the exercises in this module help to understand the concept of 83.33%, aspects of the exercises in the module become a benchmark in understanding the concepts of material 81.25%, aspects of easily answering the daily test items of 92.70%.
