PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS IV PADA PEMELAJARAN IPS MELALUI METODE PROBLEM SOLVING DI SD NEGERI 03 KOTO KACIAK MANINJAU
Abstrak
This research is motivated by the lack of student learning outcomes in the learning process of Social Sciences (IPS) for this, which just passively listening to what is conveyed by the teacher. In terms of the learning process, the teacher in teaching social studies in general just using conventional methods. So the children thought that the only social studies lesson memorization. Formulation of the problem in this study is "How does an increase in Student Learning Outcomes in the fourth grade social studies learning through problem solving method at 03 Koto Kaciak SDN." This study aims to describe the social studies learning by using the method of problem solving in grade IV. This research is a classroom action research. Subjects of this study were fourth grade students numbered 15 people. The research instrument was a student activity sheets and teacher observation, field notes, and student achievement test. There is an increase in student learning outcomes from the first cycle to the second cycle. It can be seen from the percentage of student learning outcomes of the first cycle of 53.33% to 85.71% in the second cycle. Means the target indicators in this study and the successful implementation of the IPS learning methods Problem Solving going well. Based on these results, it was concluded that the IPS study using Problem Solving method can improve student learning outcomes. Improve student learning outcomes.
