INCREASING INTEREST CLASS V STUDENT LEARNING THROUGH LEARNING TECHNIQUES TOURNAMENT IN LEARNING IPS DEPTHS CROCODILE IN THE CITY SDN 38 PADANG
Abstrak
This research is motivated by the lack of interest of fifth grade students in social studies learning in Lubuk Buaya SDN 38 Padang. The problems of this study is to discuss how to increase student interest group?, How to increase the interest of students to answer the question?, How to increase student interest in doing?. Based on the formula instead of the purpose of this research is to increase student interest in class V in group discussions, in answering the question, and the task through learning techniques tournament. The research was conducted action research collaborative conducted in two cycles. Subjects of this study were fifth grade students of SDN 38 Lubuk Crocodile totaling 24 people. The research instrument used in tis study is a sheet of student interest, teacher activity sheets, and achievement test. Based on the analysis sheet observations obtained an average interest percentage in the first cycle for the group to discuss student interest indicator is 58.3%, while in the second cycle the average percentage obtained by 75%. Interests of students answering the question in the first cycle of 62.5%, while 79.16% in the second cycle. In the interest of the students working on assignments in the first cycle of 70.8%, while 83.33% in the second cycle. From the results obtained it can be concluded that learning through the IPS model of learning techniques in the classroom V tournament Lubuk Buaya SDN 38 Padang can increase student interest.
