Application of the Numbered Head Together Model with Quartet Card Games in Mathematics Learning Class III SDN 11 Lubuk Buaya

Abstrak

This study aims to describe the application of the Numbered Head Together model with a quartet card game in the third grade mathematics learning at SDN 11 Lubuk Buaya. This type of research is an experiment. With a research design Posttest Only ContolThe population of this research is all class III of SDN II Lubuk Buaya with Class IIIB as Experiment class IIIC as control class. The data taken in this study are learning outcomes obtained through the final test in an objective form. based on the final test, it was found that the mathematics learning outcomes of the third grade SDN 11 Lubuk Buaya that applied the Numbered Head Together model with a quartet card game were better than the learning outcomes applying the conventional learning model. This can be proven by seeing the results of the average value of the experimental class is higher than the control class that is 67.66 for the experimental class and 61.00 for the control class. With the t-test α = 0.05 obtained tcount = 1.81 and ttable = 1.9 this means, tcount> ttable. For this reason, it is recommended that teachers apply the Numbered Head Together model with a quartet card game in the learning process.
