PENGGUNAAN MEDIA GAMBAR UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA KELAS II SDN 7 TIMBULUN KABUPATEN SIJUNJUNG

Abstrak

This research is motivated by the implementation of the learning process, teachers do not use media images as well as possible. The purpose of this study is to increase the use of media images in learning science, to know the learning outcomes of students in learning science by optimizing media images. The benefit of this study is that teachers can optimize learning science media to improve student learning outcomes. The method used in this study is the method of lecture, question and answer, and assignments. Type of research is a class act. The research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings and continued to test learning outcomes. Subjects of this study were second grade students of SDN 7 Timbulun, Sijunjung districts totaling 20 people. Data collection techniques, researchers used an instrument that records the field of research, observation, interviews and tests. Based on the analysis of the observation sheet, the average percent of teachers aspects of the first cycle was 70.2%, whereas the percentage of activity in the second cycle teachers 93.4%. Based on the results of the test in the first cycle, the percentage of students passing grade of 65% and the average value was 69.25, while in the second cycle, the percentage of 85% mastery learning students. This means that the implementation of science teaching by using media images on the Grade II 7 Timbulun SDN, went well. From the results obtained, it can be concluded that learning science using the media in grade II Figure 7 Timbulun SDN can improve student learning outcomes. Based on these results, the researchers suggest that teachers can select media image to improve student learning outcomes.
