PENERAPAN STRATEGI PEMBELAJARAN AKTIF MENGGUNAKAN TEKNIK GIVING QUESTIONS AND GETTING ANSWERS DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA DI KELAS X SMA KARTIKA 1-5 PADANG

Abstrak

The low percentage of students who achieve mastery learning math one caused by a lack of motivation and involvement of the student in the learning process to follow. To overcome this problem, one of the efforts to be made by applying the techniques of active learning strategies Giving Questions and Getting Answers. This study aims to determine the development of students mathematics learning activities by implementing active learning strategies using techniques Giving Questions and Getting Answers in class X SMA Kartika 1-5 Padang and to determine whether the proportion of students who achieve mastery learning mathematics is taught with active learning techniques Giving Questions and Getting Answers higher than the proportion of students who achieve mastery learning mathematics are taught using expository method in class X SMA Kartika 1-5 Padang. This type of research is experimental research. The instrument used in this study is the observation sheet to see the learning activities and tests to look at learning outcomes. Results of analysis of student learning activities gained a trend increase in activity learning at each meeting. Learn the test results also showed that the proportion of students who achieve a passing grade in the class implementing active learning strategies with techniques Giving Questions and Getting Answers higher than the proportion of students who achieve a passing grade in the class implementing the expository method.
