Abstrak

This research is motivated by the low activity of fifth grade social studies 22, Valley Crossing Elementary School West Pasaman. Learning activities of students during the learning process teachers use lecture and question and answer. One way that can be used to overcome this problem is to use the model Make A Match. This research is classroom action research, this study do it in two cycles. Based on the research that has been done can be seen that the increased activity cycle I asked the percentage is 25% and the second cycle to 83.33%, the activity of advising first cycle of 41.67% in the second cycle to 75%, the activity of organized games (simulation) percentage of first cycle and second cycle 41.67% to 83.33%,
From the results of this study concluded that social studies learning through Make A Match method can increase the activity of students of class V 22 Valley Crossing Elementary School. Based on these results, the researchers suggested that teachers can apply the model Make A Match in social studies learning well, according to the material being taught.
