PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS BELAJAR SISWA KELAS IV PADA PEMBELAJARAN IPS MELALUI MODEL KOOPERATIF TIPE JIGSAW DI SDN 08 SUNGAI AUR PASAMAN BARAT
Abstrak
This research is motivated by the low activity of students, teachers tend to use the lecture method that does not increase the activity asks, discussions and student presentations. Formulation of the problem in this study were asked how the increase in activity, discussion and presentation of the results of discussions fourth grade students on social studies learning through cooperative models in SDN 08 Jigsaw Sungai Aur. The purpose of this study is to describe the increase in activity asks, discussions and student achievement at the fourth grade social studies learning through cooperative model of Jigsaw. The research was conducted action research in participation. Subjects were fourth graders are about 20 people. The research instrument used in this study is the observation sheet activities of students and teachers activity sheets, tests and field notes. Results reveal that the average activity asks students increased from 22.5% in the first cycle to 72.5% in the second cycle. Discussion activity students increased from 32.5% in the first cycle to 70% on suklus II. Activities percentage of students increased from 30% in the first cycle to 77.5% in the second cycle. Implementation of cooperative learning model type IPS Jigsaw goes with baik.Hasil study concluded that social studies lesson using jigsaw cooperative model types can increase the activity of the fourth grade students of SDN 08 Sungai Aur. It is recommended that teachers can use Jigsaw cooperative models to improve student learning activities.
