Abstrak

The process of learningmathematicsin classXSMAN 6 Padangis stillfocused on teacher centered, most ofstudents didn’twant toapply questionduringthe learningprocess. This problem has an impactonstudents' mathematics learningoutcomeswhich become low. To solve this problem, the researcher do the effortstoovercome thatby implementingstrategiesActiveLearningQuestionsStudentsHavetype. The purpose of the research to determine that by using strategiesActiveLearningQuestions StudentsHavetypeis better than conventional learning at grade X SMAN 6 Padang.This type of researchisexperimentalresearch. The population inthis research isallstudentsof SMAN6Padanggrade Xof the academic year2012/2013.Samples aregradeX4as experimentalclass andgradeX6as control class. The instrument of this research is form ofmathematicalcommunicationskillstest. Based on theanalysis ofthe dataobtainedin theexperimental classlearning outcomeshad an averagevalue of80.2647and acontrol classhasan averagevalue of74.3041. Based on theanalysis ofthe student's finaltest dataobtained tcompute=2,3261andttable =l.9997. Because of tcompute>ttablethe hypothesisis accepted. So itcan be concludedthat theability ofstudentsto applymathematicalcommunicationstrategyActiveLearningQuestionsStudentsHaveType is betterthanmathematicalcommunication skillsof studentswhoapplyconventional learning.
