Abstrak

This research is motivated by the low participation of students in studying science at fourth class in SDN  08 Limau-Limau, Pesisir Selatan. To increasing the participation of  students learning science,  Students learning model is done by Kartu Arisan at fourth class in SDN 08 Limau-Limau, Pesisir Selatan. This type of research is Classroom Action Research ( CAR), which is conducted in two cycles. Data sources are from students at fourth class in  SDN 08 Limau-Limau, Pesisir Selatan, amounting to 17 students. Data collection instruments using teacher observation sheet aspect in managing learning and student learning participation observation sheet. Data processed qualitative and quantitative. Based on the analysis sheet in managing aspects of teacher learning, showed an average 44.11% first cycle to the second cycle increased to 72.07%. Participation in the study asked students on the first cycle obtained an average 27.77% increase to the second cycle to be 69.44%, to answer the question of participation in the first cycle with an average 36.10% increase to the second cycle to 74.99% , participation in response to the answers in the first cycle with an average 44.44% increase to the second cycle to be 66.66%, participation of students in carrying out the task group in the cycle I got an average of 33.32% has increased to a 74 second cycle, 99 From the results obtained it can be concluded that there is an increase in the participation of students studying science at fourth class SDN 08 Pesisir Selatar after using the learning model Kartu Arisan.
