PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN COOPERATIVE INTEGRATED READING AND COMPOSITION (CIRC) PADA PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VIII SMP NEGERI 3 PASAMAN
Abstrak
Mathematics is one of science has an important role in education. Mathematical function to train someone to think and act logically, meticulous, efficient, effective and systematic and influential in the development of science and technology. To create the mindset of a careful, efficient, and effective one way to do is to apply the learning model Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition. Model Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition train students to make a plan or prediction to solve a math problem found. Model Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition is a learning model in groups, in which students are required to read and understand the materials provided as well as making predictions and planning of the completion of any math problem found during the study. This study aims to determine the learning outcomes of students who apply mathematics learning model Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition better mathematics learning outcomes of students who use the conventional teaching eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Pasaman. This type of research is experimental research. Based on data from student learning outcomes in second grade sample, after testing the hypothesis with a t-test at level α = 0,05 is obtained and, therefore t > t then the hypothesis is accepted. And the results of this study concluded that students' mathematics learning outcomes after implementing cooperative learning model of Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition better than students who used the conventional learning in class VIII SMP 3 Pasaman school year 2012/2013.
