PENINGKATAN MOTIVASI DAN HASIL KETERAMPILAN MEMBACA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INDONESIA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN MODEL TEBAK KATA PADA SISWA KELAS V DI SDN 22 UJUNG GURUN PADANG
Abstrak
This research is motivated by the lack of motivation and reading skills of students in the learning process. The purpose of this study was to describe the increase in students' motivation and reading skills through charades models. The research method applied is the method of action research. This study was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings. The subjects were fifth grade students of SDN 22 Ujung Gurun Padang totaling 20 people. The research instrument used in the study is the observation activity sheets and teacher achievement test. Based on the results of research conducted in the classroom Desert Edge SDN 22 Padang, use charades shown to increase student motivation and reading skills. It can be seen from the average student motivation first cycle of 62.00% rising to 85.50% in the second cycle (23.50% increase). In addition, students' reading skills also increase seen from the results of the student's final test first cycle with an average percentage of completeness 65.00%, increased in the second cycle the average completeness 85.00% (20% increase). Based on the above it can be said that the model can improve the Guess word motivation and reading skills of students. It is recommended for teachers to be able to use Word Guess models in learning to read.
