The Effect of Quantum Teaching Model on Indonesian Language Learning Outcomes Grade III Students of SDN 37 Pegambiran, Padang

Abstrak

In the world of education there is a curriculum that has an important role and is used as a basis or guide in educating teachers. Basically the application required in the 2013 Curriculum is an active learning process with student centered without dominating the implementation of the lecture method in learning. However, in general the teacher uses the lecture or conventional method as the main method. One way that can be done is by applying the Quantum Teaching model to class III SDN 37 Pagambiran. Based on this, the researcher will conduct an experimental study with the title Effect of Quantum Teaching Model on Indonesian Language Learning Outcomes Grade III Students at SDN 37 Pegambiran, Padang.
This type of research is experimental research. The independent variable in this study is the Quantum Model, while the dependent variable is the student's Indonesian learning outcomes. The population in this study were all students of class III 37 SDN Pagambiran, amounting to 55 students. Sampling is done by sampling saturated. Data taken in this study are the results of students' learning Indonesian. The instrument used in the study was a matter of validated essays.
The results showed that the average student learning outcomes after being given treatment in the experimental class 79.11 and 64.58 in the control class, statistically obtained ˃ with a value of 2.74 and 2.0105 at a real level of 0.05 then the hypothesis was accepted.
Based on these data it can be concluded that the Quantum Teaching model influences the learning outcomes of Indonesian students in the experimental class. therefore. It is expected that teachers can implement the Quantum Teaching learning model in learning.
