According to Zuraik in Susanto (2014: 137), stated that "The Nature of Social Sciences in elementary schools is to provide basic knowledge and skills for media training students as citizens as early as possible". In general, teachers still use conventional learning. Conventional learning is a learning process that conveys material in the form of lectures sourced from books and delivered to students so that they can convey all information back when tested. To overcome this problem the researchers used a two-stay two-stray model of student learning outcomes in social studies in class V SDN 13 PasarKambang. Based on this, the researchers conducted an experimental study with the title "The influence of the two stay two stray learning model on the learning outcomes of social studies learning students in class V SDN 13 PasarKambang, Pesisir Selatan Regency".

This type of research is an experimental research design "posttest-only control design". The independent variable in this study is the provision of learning treatment using the Two Stay Two Stray learning method in the experimental class and lecture learning and question and answer in the control class. While the dependent variable is students' social studies learning outcomes after being given treatment according to the independent variable. The population in this study were all fifth grade students of SDN 13 PasarKambang in the 2019/2020 school year, amounting to 35 people. The sample in this study were two classes of fifth grade students at SDN 13 PasarKambang who took part in the social studies learning process in the 2019/2020 school year. The sampling technique is random sampling. The data taken in this study are the results of social studies learning students obtained through the final test in the form of objectives.

The results showed the average value of the experimental class was higher than the control class (the experimental class averaged 70.00, and the control class an average value of 60.28). Statistically the price of t test <t table (α 0.05), 1.46 <2.03452, thus H1 is rejected.

From these data it can be concluded that the Two Stay Two Stray learning model influences the learning outcomes of fifth grade students of social studies learning at SDN 13 PasarKambang, Pesisir Selatan Regency.
