According to Susanto (2012: 242), "Learning Indonesian, especially in primary schools, will not be separated from the four language skills, namely listening, speaking, reading, and writing". Generally teachers still use conventional learning. Conventional learning is a learning model that is commonly used by teachers in the learning process in the classroom. To overcome these problems, researchers used a cooperative integrated reading and composition (CIRC) model of the learning outcomes of Indonesian Language reading in grade II students of SDN 34 Air Pacah Padang. Based on this, the researchers conducted an experimental study with the title "" The effect of the cooperative integrated reading and composition (CIRC) model on the learning outcomes of reading Indonesian Language class II students at SDN 34 Air Pacah Padang ".               This type of research is an experimental research design "posttest-only control design". The independent variable in this study is the influence of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) Model in Indonesian Language learning in the experimental class and the lecture method in the control class. while the dependent variable is the ability of students to read Indonesian learning outcomes obtained based on tests given at the end of the study. The population in this study were all students of class II SDN 34 Air Pacah in the academic year 2018/2019. The samples in this study were 20 students in class II A and 20 students in class II B were 20 students. The sampling technique is Simple Random Sampling. The data taken in this study are the results of students learning to read Indonesian language obtained through the final test in an objective form.                                         The results showed the average value of the experimental class was higher than the control class (the experimental class the average value of 80.25 and the control class the average value of 68.25. Statistically (α = 0.05) obtained tcount = 2.001 and t table = 1.683 where thiung> t table then the H1 working hypothesis is accepted and H0 is rejected.               From these data it was concluded that the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model affected the learning outcomes of Grade II students in Indonesian language learning at SDN 34 Air Pacah Padang.
