PENERAPAN KONTRAK BELAJAR DENGAN PENDEKATAN INKUIRI DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI KELAS IX SMP KARTIKA1-7 PADANG TAHUN AJARAN 2012/2013

ABSTRACT
This study aimed to see differences in the application of Learning Contract with the inquiry approach to learning the material Biotekologi biology class IX SMP Kartika 1-7 Padang academic year 2012/2013. This type of research is experimental research design only randomized control design. The study population was all students in class IX SMP Kartika 1-7 Padang that consists of 6 classes. By using purposive sampling techniques and through random, then the experimental class is IX.1 class with 35 students and the number of control class is the class with the number of students IX.3 35 people. Results of data analysis, t 'is 8,30. When compared to test the hypothesis H0 is 3,68. Then t '< H0 hypothesis testing. Therefore, the hypothesis can not be accepted by the real level of 0,05. So it can be concluded, that the implementation of a learning contract with the inquiry approach there is no difference with significance level (α 0,05) on the biology of learning materials of biotechnology in class IX SMP Kartika 1-7 Padang academic year 2012/2013. On the learning outcomes of the average value of the experimental class (64,94) is higher than the control class (35,71). The average value of psychomotor and affective experimental class (83 and 63) is higher than the control class (70 and 59). Therefore, the implementation of the contract apply lessons learned through the inquiry approach can be varied with the fun of learning strategies.
