Designing an Android Based New Student Acceptance Information System at SMK Negeri 1 Palembayan

Abstrak

Admission of new students at SMK Negeri 1 Palembayan still uses the manual method, so it will require a long time and errors in data input. This study aims to produce a new Android-based student admission system at SMK Negeri 1 Palembayan. The design of this system uses the waterfall method where the design phase starts from the analysis, the system design uses Context Diagrams, Data Flow Diagrams (DFD) and Unified Modeling Language (UML), coding programs using java programming languages, storage places using MySQL. The design phase ends with the testing program so as to produce an Android-Based New Student Admission Information System at SMK Negeri 1 Palembayan. The testing process is carried out through system validity testing by the validator as an expert who understands the system being designed, so that the system built is feasible to operate properly. The results of the design in the form of an Android-Based New Student Admission Information System at SMK Negeri 1 Palembayan consisting of a login, the main page, the data input page and the output page.
