Abstrak

This research aims to determine the implementation of the duties and social functions in the provision of services to the community. The type of research used is a type of descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Therefore, to describe the implementation of the duties and functions of Camat Koto Tangah Researchers use an interview instrument to Camat, Clerk of the office and 6 respondents. According to Doni Deswandi (2016:1536) Camat is the leader who is directly appointed by the Regent/mayor to assist the Regency/city government to organize local government and regional autonomy, as the leader of Camat has a very important role in the subdistrict government. This research aims to determine the implementation of the duties and social functions in the provision of services to the community. The type of research used is a type of descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The subject of this study is a clerk of the office of Koto Tangah, the research respondent is a camat koto Tangah, Clerk's office and community. Data is collected using interview guidelines and analyzed by the Miles and Huberman methods. The results of this research show the implementation of the task in the provision of services to the people including family card service, birth certificate making service, and the service letter of the certificate of heirs. The factors faced by a camat koto Tangah that is a factor of staff, staff working in accordance with his skills and duties and discipline. The obstacles faced in the provision of services are low knowledge about the making of KTP. In conclusion, Koto Tangah has performed its job well.
