Abstrak

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study was to determine differences in outcome Biology students Resouce Based Learning approach to the learning outcomes of students using conventional learning biology . This research is the design of experimental studies randomize only control group design , in which the population is the entire junior class VII Mother of Padang , sampling is done with a total sampling technique , while determining the experimental class and the control class used random techniques , after allowing for random then obtained class VII .1 as a class experiment with an average value of 46.31 and VII.2 as a control class with an average value of 46.45 . In this study, researchers assessed three aspects which are taken from the cognitive aspects of the final test while affective and psychomotor aspects taken using tabular student observation sheet affective and psychomotor assessment rubric. To test the similarity hypothesis testing used two average or t-test . T value obtained for t = 5.769 and t table = 2.00 at α = 0.05 confidence level. Therefore t count > t table, then the hypothesis is accepted . Cognitive learning outcomes obtained by giving the test to the end of the second grade sample average value of the cognitive aspects of experimental class higher ( 71.47 ) than the control class ( 53.33 ). being the value of the affective and psychomotor aspects of using student observation sheet with the average value of the affective aspects of the experimental class ( 78.01 % ) of the average of the control class ( 72.13 % ) . So also for aspects of psychomotor average experimental class ( 78.87 % ) and the average grade control ( 72.50 % ) . From the above analysis it can be concluded that there are differences in the application of the results of biological studies using Resource Based Learning approach with an average yield higher than conventional learning and the percentage of the value of the affective and psychomotor aspects aspects of the two classes is almost the same as the assessment sufficiently.
