Abstrak

Abstract

This study aims to determine and compare learning outcomes between the application of coperative learning model Talking Stick with comventional learning class VIII SMP Pertiwi 1 padang. This study began on 29 may  and ended 28 june 2013. Type of research done by sampling method used is postesst only randomized control group design. Population this study were all students of class 1ts semester VIII SMP Pertiwi 1 Padang.school years 2013/2014 which consists of 4 classes, perfomed by taking a sample class purposive techniques and trough random sampling to determine the experimental class and the control class. This data analysis technique consistst of normality test, homogenity test and t-test .the result of these studies show the  application of coperative learning model Talking stick in biologi learning gives students a good learning outcomes is the cognitive aspects of the average value of 69,06 and 59,64 in the control class. Psychomotor aspect eith anverage value of 66,50 and a 63 class experiment on class control. It can be concluded that the application of cooperative learning model type Talking stick in biology teaching junior high school eighth grade students pertiwi field if biology to improve learning outcomes in SMP Pertiwi 1 Padang.
