Abstrak

This study aims to describe the validity and practicality of a mathematical monopoly media game in class III SD N 94 / III. Siulak Deras Kerinci who asks for valid and practical advice. This type of research is Research and Development. This monopoly media game was developed using the Borg and Gall Development Preparation. This research was conducted in the odd semester of the 2019/2020 school year with material on the properties of arithmetic operations on numbers. The research instrument included a validation sheet and a practicality sheet (teacher and student response questionnaire). In the validation process, the media is validated by 1 material expert and 1 media expert. In the practicality process, the media was tried out by 1 teacher and 24 students. Based on the results of the study, the development of monopoly mathematical games produces criteria to meet the requirements with a percentage of 83.7%, and meet very practical criteria with a percentage of 91.8%. Then, it can be concluded that the mathematical monopoly media game is valid and very practical to be used as one of the learning media. This product is expected to make learning more interesting and enjoyable.
