Background of this research based on the results of interviews with grade IV A teachers namelyHerlinaAmsa, information is obtained that in schools the use of teaching materials is not optimal because teachers are more focused on using the existing Student Worksheets, Student Worksheets that are used are less attractive because they are colorless and not accompanied by examples - For example, the Student Worksheet that is used is still relatively broad and has not been linked to the environment around students, multicultural learning is more dominant only on SBdP subjects.Based on these problems, it is necessary to have an effort to design the Student Worksheet according to the culture that is around students. Student Worksheets are designed according to the essence of the 2013 curriculum and are as attractive as possible to foster interest in learning. So that learning is not only centered on the teacher. For this reason, the writer is interested in conducting a research entitled "Development of Multicultural-Based Students Worksheets on Thematic Learning Theme 1Subtema 1 In Class IV Elementary School Students." Based on the problem above, the purpose of this study is to produce multicultural-based learners on Thematic Learning Theme 1 Subtheme 1 for grade IV elementary school students who meet valid and practical criteria.

This type of research is Research and Development. The development research model used is a 4-D development model that is define, design, develop, and disseminate. Due to time constraints, this research only reached the develop stage. This research was conducted in fourth grade students even semester 2019/2020 school year. The research instruments included validation sheets and practical sheets (teacher and student response questionnaire).

               The validity of multicultural-based LKPD on sub-theme 1 of my nation's cultural diversity for grade IV students of 37 Anduring Padang State Elementary Schools which has been developed with a validity value of material, design, and language aspects is 87% with a valid category and for practicality with a very practical category by teachers and students with a practicality percentage of 95%.

From these data it can be concluded that the Multicultural Based Student Worksheet Development Model is valid and practical for use in learning.
