This study aims to develop a citizenship education learning module (PKn) based on inquiry on the material rights, obligations and responsibilities for valid and practical fifth grade elementary school students. Inquiry is a learning method where students are required to understand more about the material and students learn more by themselves.
This type of research is Resesarch and Development. The inquiry-based Civics learning module was developed using 4-D, but the desseminate stage was not carried out. The study was conducted in odd semester in the 2019/2020 school year. Data collection is done by validating the trial module that was developed.
The module design that was designed was validated by two experts and then tested it limitedly in class V SDN 02 Sungai Aur to find out the practicality of the module being developed. From the results of the research conducted it is known that the Civics-based learning module of inquiry on the material rights, obligations and responsibilities for fifth grade elementary school students is in the category of very valid with an average percentage of 91.90% validity.
The modules that have been developed are categorized very practical by teachers with an average percentage of practicality 91.67%, also categorized very practical according to students with an average percentage of practicality of 97.18%.
