According to Susanto (2012:225) “citizenship education is a subject used as a vehicle to develop and preserve noble and moral values that are rooted in the culture of the Indonesian nation. Generally teachers only use conventional learning, conventional learning meant here is a learning model that is familiar and is often used by teachers in the learning process in the classroom. To overcome these problems the researcher will use the auditory learning metode demonstation on the civics subject class V SDN 10 Sungai Sapiah. Based on this, the researchers are interested in conducting experimental research with the title “Demonstration” learning model on learning outcomes in civics learning in class V  SDN 10 Sungai Sapiah.

This type of research is an experimental research designRandomized Control Group Only Design”. The independent variable in this study is the Demonstration while the dependent variable is civics learning outcomes. The population in this study were all students of class V SDN 10 Sungai Sapiah in the 2018/2019 school year consisting of 2 classes. The sample in this study was class V A students with 32 students and class V B students with 32 students. The technique in taking the sample is by Simple Random Sampling. The data taken in this study are te results of civics students’ cognitive learning outcomes obtained through the final test in a objective form.

The results showed the average value of the experimental class was higher than the control class (the experimental class the average value of 78,62 and the control class an average value of 66,25. By price statistical test  tcount > ttable (0,05;43) (3,42> 2,01) with level (α = 0,05) then the hypothesis H1 is accepted.

From these data it can be concluded that the Demonstration learning model influences the learning outcomes of fourth grade students in civics learning at SDN 10 Sungai Sapiah. Thus the auditory learning metode Demonstration is expected to be used in the learning process to have a better influence on student learning outcomes.
