This study aims to develop a Mind Mappingbased Social Science Learning Module for Grade VI students of SD Negeri 01 Maek Lima Puluh Kota that is valid and practical. This type of research is Research and Development. The Mind Mapping-based Social Sciences learning module was developed using a three-D models approach. This research was conducted on students of class VI odd semester 2019 / 2020. Data collection techniques were carried out using a questionnaire.

The results of the validation by two experts obtained a value of 95.52 which falls into the very valid category. The module design that was validated by two experts was then tested in class VI of SDN 01 Maek to find out practicality. The results of the practicality score of the teacher is 89.7 which is included in the practical category. The results showed that the sixth grade elementary school students with an average percentage of practicality of 89.7 which included practical categories. Based on the results of validity and practicality, this module can be used as an alternative teaching material so that students are able to learn both without the guidance of the teacher and with the guidance of the validity analysis, and practicality shows that the Social Studies Learning Module of our environmental material Class V SDN 01 Maek Regency Fifty Cities, valid and practical for use by teachers and students as teaching material in grade V elementary school. The results of the validity, and practicality analysis show that the Social Studies Learning Module for our friend's Environmental Material Class V SDN 01 Maek, is valid and practical for teachers and students to use as teaching material in class V SD.
