According to Susanto (2013: 141) "Social studies education is closely related to knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values that enable students to participate in the community groups in which they live". Generally teachers still use conventional learning. Conventional learning is a learning model that is commonly used by teachers in the learning process in the classroom. To overcome these problems, researchers used a scramble model on social studies learning outcomes for Grade VI students of SDN 07 Sungai Kuyung, Pesisir Selatan. Based on this, the researchers conducted an experimental study with the title "The Effect of Scramble Learning Model on Social Studies Learning Outcomes of Grade VI Students at SDN 07 Sungai Kuyung, Pesisir Selatan".               This type of research is an experimental research design "posttest-only control design". The independent variable in this study is the effect of the scramble model in social studies learning in the experimental class and the lecture method in the control class. while the dependent variable is the learning outcomes obtained based on tests given at the end of the study. The population in this study were all grade VI students of SDN 07 Sungai Kuyung, Pesisir Selatan Regency in the academic year 2018/2019. The sample in this study were 22 students in class VI A and students in class VI B were 22 students. The sampling technique is Simple Random Sampling. The data taken in this study are students' social studies learning outcomes obtained through the final test in an objective form. The results showed the average value of the experimental class was higher than the control class (experimental class average value of 77.68 and control class average value of 71.73. Statistically (α = 0.95) obtained tcount = 2 , 41 and t table = 2.022 where thiung> t table then the H1 working hypothesis is accepted and H0 is rejected.
