Abstrak

This research is based on the background because based on the results of observations made
by the writer on August 2, 2018 conducted at SDN 16 Seberang Padang Selatan in science
learning, it was obtained that the teacher still uses the lecture motive. Penilis also saw the
teacher did not use the media in the learning process. This results in students feeling less
interested in the subject matter presented by the teacher. The purpose of this study was to
determine the learning outcomes of science students between increased activity and learning
outcomes of fourth grade students in natural science learning with the Scramble model at
SDN 16 Seberang, Padang Selatan in the 2019/2020 school year as many as 20 students. The
data analyzed in this study are the results of learning science in the cognitive domain
collected through objective tests. The results showed that there was an increase in activity
and learning outcomes of fourth grade students in science learning with the Scramble model
at SDN 16 Seberang, Padang Selatan. This can be seen from the acquisition of the average
value of the first cycle of 50% with an average value of 70.25%, increasing in cycle II to 85%
with an average value of 75.25%. Then it can be concluded that the Scramble model provides
a better influence than conventional learning. Seeing the results of this study, the Scramble
model needs to be applied and developed in order to achieve optimal learning outcomes.
