PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE SCRAMBLE DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI SISWA KELAS VIII SMPN 1 PERANAP INDRAGIRI HULU-RIAU

Abstract
This study aimed to see differences in the conventional learning (lectures, discussions, question and answer) and learning biology Scramble on learning outcomes of students in class VIII SMPN1 Peranap. Observed learning outcomes are cognitive in view of the test results of the study. This study is a randomized block design experiment with Control Group Posttest-Only Design with populations in this study were all eighth grade students of SMP 1 Peranap. Sampling is done by using purposive sampling, based on the average exam Biology students in semester one close to even, then conducted the draw to determine the experimental class and the class dick, the result of the draw is obtained VIII4 class as the control class and the experimental class VIII3 class. Hypothesis testing is done by t-test, because the data were normally distributed and variances homogeneous From the analysis of the data shows that the average value of learning outcomes experimental class 76.69 higher than the value of the control class 69.44. From the calculation results obtained t test t is 4.10. When compared to the TTable 1.67, then t> t table. Thus, the hypothesis put forward acceptable to the real level of 0.05. From the study it can be concluded that the application of cooperative learning model in teaching biology Scramble can reveal significant differences in the experimental class in comparison to a control class that can improve cognitive learning outcomes in the experimental class.
