Education is an important means to improve the quality of human resources (HR) in ensuring the sustainable development of a nation. Improving the quality of human resources is far more urgent to be realized, especially in the face of the era of global competition. Therefore, improving the quality of human resources early on is an important thing that must be taken seriously.
This study aims to develop an Indonesian language learning module with a Contextual Teaching and Learning Approach on theme 5 for students of Class II 018 Marsawa which is valid and practical. The theory used as a reference is the opinion of Subana (2009) about learning, Daryanto (2013) about modules and Jhonson's opinion (2007) about the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach. The type of this research is Research and Development. The Indonesian learning module with the Contextual Teaching and Learning Approach was developed using three-D models. This research was conducted in second grade students even semester 2019/2020.
Data collection is done by testing and testing modules that are developed. The module design that was designed was validated by two experts then tested in class II SDN 018 Marsawa to find out practicality. Validation by two experts obtained a value of 85 which is included in the Valid category and from the practicality test value of the teacher students amounting to 92.57 is in the very practical category. teacher guidance as well as with teacher guidance.
