               Based on observations carried out on March 21 to April 13, 2019 in class IV SDN 04 Lundar Panti District, Pasaman Regency, amounting to 22 people, consisting of 13 male students 9 female students showed that learning mathematics is still carried out conventionally. Where mutual improve student learning outcomes tend to be low. The data of this study were collected using a method that is recording the report, observation, documentation, and tests. This research is a classroom action research (action research) in the field of education and teaching mathematics using qualitative and quantitative approaches. This research is concerned with improving or improving the process of learning mathematics in a class that is class IV SDN 04 Lundar, Panti District, Pasaman Regency. In its implementation, this research was conducted for two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning activities, implementing actions accompanied by observation, and reflection. The results of the study carried out in two cycles showed that the use of inquiry methods could improve mathematics learning outcomes in class IV SDN 04 Lundar, Panti District, Pasaman Regency. This can be seen from (1) the ability of students to find and find their own answers to a mathematical problem, (2) the ability of students to think critically and systematically, and (3) completeness of learning which was originally only 59% on the first cycle increased to 86 , 4% at the end of cycle II. Thus, classroom action research to improve mathematics learning outcomes using inquiry methods needs to be applied and developed in order to improve the quality of education in the future.
