Abstrak

ABSTRACT

The porposes of this research was to find out the result of biologi’ learning outcomes to the student class VIII SMP Kartika I-6 Padang in the active learning of Take and Give’s tipe. This research is experimental study using Randomized Control Grup Posttest only design. The Population of this research werw all of VIII grade students of SMP Kartika I-6 Padang academic year 2012/2013 consiting four classes. The Writer applied purposive sampling technique to take sample and to choose between the control class and experimental class radomly. Cognitive assisment obtained by giving the final test on sample while the second class of affective and psychomotor aspects of using the observation sheet. The analysis of data consist of hypotheses test, normality test and homogenity test. The results showed that after testing the hypothesis turns out there is a real difference learning outcomes of students who apply active learning model type Take and Give (t = 2.35> t table = 1.671). Cognitive learning outcomes with the experimental class average (80.35) is higher than the control class (71.96). Affective aspects of the assessment with the average value of the experimental class and the control class 76.87% 66.24%. Psychomotor aspects of assessment with an average grade of 79.87% and the experimental control class 66.99%. From the results of this study concluded that the learning outcomes of students using active learning biology Take and Give type is better than the control class that uses a conventional learning.
